Return to In-Person Classes at ETS

We are delighted to announce a return to real, in-person classes as of the beginning of September, the first semester in this academic year.

ETS Principal, Iver Martin said, “The isolation which COVID19 demanded has meant a serious loss of person-to-person contact and has naturally had a negative impact on the learning experience of students at ETS. Whilst we are thankful for the technology that has seen us through the last year, we are anxious to get back to the many important benefits of collective learning, which of course is what “college” is all about. Students can get to know each other properly and can engage in more natural and lengthy discussions which are such a vital component in theological education”.

Of course, the return to in-person classes is dependent on the continued easing of restrictions and ETS is fully prepared to adapt teaching methods should this situation change. However, the Seminary remains hopeful for greater normality and we look forward to welcoming returning and new students to the building for the new term which commences on Monday 6 September.
