The next ETS postgraduate seminar will be held tomorrow, Tuesday 8th April, between 2.15pm and 3.45pm (BST). This will be available both in person in the ETS Centre for Mission room (on the top floor of the ETS building) and online via Microsoft Teams.
The speaker (who will join us in person) will be Dr Russell Newton. Russell Newton is Academic Dean at the Faith Mission Bible College in Edinburgh where he teaches Church History and Theology. He is co-editor of The Clergy in Early Modern Scotland (Boydell, 2021) and is co-editor of the journal, Scottish Church History. Dr Newton will speak on the following subject: ‘The Making of a Covenanting Doctor: The Moderate Divinity of William Guild (1586–1657)’.
