The next ETS postgraduate seminar will be held on Tuesday 11th March between 2.15pm and 3.45pm (GMT). This will be available both in person in the ETS Centre for Mission room (on the top floor of the ETS building) and online via Microsoft Teams.
The speaker (who will join us in person) will be Màiri MacPherson. Màiri MacPherson is a second-year PhD candidate in Systematic Theology at the University of Edinburgh’s School of Divinity. Her research engages with JH Bavinck and his theology of language in Christian mission. She also leads Edinburgh City Mission’s Nations ministry, promoting unity and engagement with and between ethnically and linguistically diverse churches in Edinburgh.
Ms MacPherson will speak on the following subject: ‘From caring for creation to caring through (re-)creation: Missiological implications of the theology of creation in Evangelical and Neo-Calvinist thought’. All are welcome to join this seminar.
