Death of Professor John L. Mackay

It is with a deep sense of sadness that we announce that Principal Emeritus John L Mackay passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday 25th October. John L Mackay was 70 years old.

Originally ordained and inducted as minister of Rosskeen Free Church in 1980, he was thereafter appointed as Professor of Hebrew and Old Testament Studies at the Free Church College in 1983. He was appointed Principal in 2010.

We extend our deepest and prayerful sympathies to his wife, Mary along with their two children: John and Fiona.
