Daniel is Course Organiser for Old Testament and Hebrew. Originally from Iowa, USA, he is married to Marion and they have three sons. Daniel completed an MDiv at Westminster Theological Seminary in California. After serving in pastoral ministry for seven years on the Isle of Skye, he was appointed to teach OT at ETS.

In 2024, Daniel completed his PhD on the shepherd metaphor in the Psalter.

Daniel’s desire is to equip students to responsibly exegete individual passages of Scripture in light of the Bible’s overarching narrative so they can make known God’s wonders in Christ.
