ETS Annual Conference

A highlight of the ETS calendar, the Annual Theological Conference gathers Christians from every sphere — the wider church, students, and lecturers — for a day of teaching, encouragement, and fellowship.

The conference is held each autumn, usually at St Columba’s Free Church in Edinburgh.

Alongside ETS faculty, past and recent speakers have included Sinclair Ferguson, Donald John Maclean, Matthew Roberts and Hamish Sneddon.

Recent themes have included:

• The Free Offer of the Gospel (2026)
• The Great Commission (2025)
• We Believe: Why the Creed Matters Today (2024)
• Knowing Christ (2023)
