A New Term Begins at Edinburgh Theological Seminary

Report and photos from the Opening Service and first week of the new term at ETS.

Edinburgh Theological Seminary has begun another academic year!

In our opening service, Dr Ben Castaneda addressed the student body and ETS community with a profound, challenging, and encouraging message from John 21 on the ‘ambiguity of the genitive’, as a Greek prof might: the love of Jesus (for Peter and the sheep) and the love of Jesus (from Peter and the sheep in response). The service was followed by a warm reception in which new and returning students, ETS faculty, staff, and community members welcomed the start of the year together.

If you or someone you know is interested in ministry or theological education, attend our Open Day on 27 October and Annual Conference on 28 October and begin your journey with us!
